Anonymous asked: Hi, there! Thank you for all your tutorials. I think I have read every single one. :D anyway, regarding your clipping mask tutorial, can you do that for a gif? as in have the gif inside the text?
STEP 1: Create your gif. (before you proceed to Step 2, it would be best if your gif has already been cropped, resized, sharpened, colored, etc.)
STEP 2: Add your text. This would be the text that you want your gif to appear in/to be shaped as.
STEP 3: Select the Magic Wand tool. If you can’t find it on your Toolbar, right click on the Quick Selection tool and select the Magic Wand tool.
STEP 4: With the Magic Wand tool, click on any part of your gif not covered with text. You’re going to have to select the holes in the letters too. To do that, hold down Shift and click on the holes and any part in the letters that isn’t selected yet.
STEP 5: Now, add a Color Fill Layer (Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color). Select whatever color you want, click OK. Next, delete your text layer.
Add what other text or textures you want or make your canvas bigger, but basically you’re done!
